Christmas is just around the corner, and not everyone experiences the holiday spirit in the same way. So, if you're one of those weirdos like me who fancy watching Christmas movies with gore, monsters, and twisted stories, here's a list of Christmas horror films. I'm mentioning 5 movies—some I've seen, and some I'll definitely watch during my next pre-Christmas weekend marathon.
Horror Movies to Watch This Christmas
1. Krampus » 2015
I'm putting this one first because I absolutely love it. There are several Krampus movies, made in different years. This is the only one I've seen, and I have to say it's one of a kind. It's classified as a horror comedy. Some scenes feature jokes, and the villains use humor to scare the protagonists even more. If you haven't seen it, I recommend adding it to your list right now.
2. Better Watch Out » 2016
I watched this horror movie recently, and it had me on the edge of my seat. You go into it with one idea in mind, but the plot twist really surprises you. It keeps you in suspense, wondering, “What the hell is going to happen now?” With its dark comedy and sexy lead, this movie has already earned a place in my Christmas horror heart. If you like movies about home invasions, kidnappings, and suspense, you'll love it.
3. Black Christmas
I haven't seen this movie yet, but three of my friends have told me it's worth watching. If you enjoy horror movies, or stories about people being harassed through phone calls, strange noises, and bizarre apparitions, you're sure to enjoy this unusual film.

4. Gingerdead Man
Just look at the picture and check out the trailer to see how low-budget this movie is. Some of us love watching this kind of horror movie with friends. It might not scare you, but you'll have a great time laughing at the antics of whoever came up with these totally bizarre characters. If you're one of my kind, you can't miss this so-bad-it's-good horror movie…

5. Gremlins
If you enjoy the classics, you know you can't miss this famous movie about those little creatures. Remember…
- Keep them out of the sun
- Don't get them wet
- Don't feed them after midnight
I hope these movies haven't taken all your Christmas cheer away…
HO, HO, HO!
